Two New Aerospace Groups Join Coalition’s Leadership Council

The Coalition is pleased to announce two new members of it’s Leadership Council.

The first is the Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC).   ATEC is a coalition of schools that educate airline repair and manufacturing technicians.  Their members range from universities to trade schools to community colleges and they are nationwide.   ATEC was founded in 1961 to further the standing of FAA approved schools with education and industry, and to promote mutually beneficial relations with all industry and government agencies. The Council’s mission is to advocate for aviation maintenance schools in the areas of curriculum improvement, technical and financial support, while promoting mutually beneficial relations with related government and industry groups.

The second is the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA). ARSA represents the thousands of airline and airport repair businesses across the country. ARSA is the only association devoted to the unique needs of the global civil aviation maintenance industry. The association is dedicated to helping its more than 400 member companies run their operations more efficiently and effectively, while continuing to ensure the safety of aircraft worldwide.  Many of ARSA’s members are small and medium sized businesses, many of whom report growing difficulties in finding qualified technicians and support technical personnel.
