Senators Introduce Bipartisan Resolution to Establish National STEM Day

On Wednesday, November 8th, U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) introduced a bipartisan resolution formally designating November 8, 2023 as “National Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Day” to celebrate the importance of STEM education and the STEM workforce in the United States.

“We greatly appreciate Senator Rosen’s efforts as a champion of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education,” said James Brown, Executive Director, STEM Education Coalition. “Highlighting the important role that STEM fields play in our economy and in the prosperous future lives of our nation’s youth is deserving of a well-earned day of recognition.”
