STEM Education Coalition Signs Afterschool STEM Hub Letter to State Policymakers

The STEM Education Coalition was a signatory on a letter sent to state education policymakers by the Afterschool STEM Hub, an alliance of local, state and national organizations dedicated to improving education for all students. The letter, sent on Wednesday, September 7, was signed by more than 100 organizations from communities across the country and offers a series of policy recommendations related to new federal funding opportunities and decision-making powers for state and local school districts that can be used to improve the teaching and learning of the STEM subjects, especially in afterschool, informal, and out of school settings.
