ThreatTrack Joins Coalition’s Leadership Council

The STEM Education Coalition is pleased to announce that ThreatTrack Security Inc., a leading national cyber-security company, has joined the Coalition’s Leadership Council. ThreatTrack Security specializes in helping organizations identify and stop Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), targeted attacks and other sophisticated malware designed to evade the traditional cyber-defenses deployed by enterprises and government agencies around the world. Like many companies in the information technology and security business, ThreatTrack is facing enormous challenges in recruiting and retaining top talent in the STEM fields and has recently expanded its engagement and support for STEM education related initiatives.

“With every new data breach or sophisticated malware set loose in the wild, I see a tremendous need to vastly increase the number of well-educated and talented cyber-security professionals in our industry. To ensure that we have a large talent pool today, and in the years to come, we have to plant the seeds now. That is why I believe so strongly in STEM-based education in K-12, as well as our colleges and universities. The more we can do to fully support this effort, the better,”

– Julian Waits, Sr., President and CEO of ThreatTrack Security.
