Coalition Supports Increased Education Appropriations

From STEM Education Coalition Executive Director James Brown:

“Congress’s proposed increases in the latest education appropriations bill are a huge win for American education and clearly indicate Congress’s prioritization of STEM learning. We are pleased to see $70 million increases for both Title IV, Part A and Career and Technical Education Grants. This increase in funds, along with the $10 million increase for afterschool programs and preservation of Title II teacher supports from elimination, will help to fill critical gaps in workforce training and STEM learning. We hope for swift passage of this bill into law.”
