Tax Bill Dropping Grad Tax Provision

Good news!  Multiple outlets are reporting that the tax bill will not include a controversial provision making graduate school tuition grants taxable income.  The Coalition, along with many, many other education organizations, was publicly opposed to this provision and we helped recruit a number of members to a House Dear Colleague letter eventually signed by more than 30 House GOP members to that effect.  A final copy of the signed letter can be read here.
